Method - On day one with no data available leave with plenty of time to comfortably arrive on time and collect the time data. The remainder of the days, utilize the Daily Commute countdown clock to leave the house at the time targeted by the app. For all days, relax and enjoy a non stressful drive to work.

My desired of time for arrival at work is 7:50 am. Based on past experience, I left at 7:15 on Monday morning. I drove at a comfortable pace, no worries no rush. I arrived to work at about 7:45. This was 5 minutes early. No big deal, but thats five more minutes of sleep or one snooze button push!
On Tuesday, I noted that Daily Commute had adjusted my target leave time to 7:21. I used the countdown timer.
For the rest of the week, I basically just forgot about worrying about what time to leave for work. My focus was on only one thing. To leave on or around the time that Daily Commute told me to. It was really liberating. I was no longer guessing and doing math in my head.
At the end of the week, I found that I got to work on time five out of five mornings and my morning commute felt like time to enjoy myself rather than worry.
